The COMBOJR2 is a durable and popular Exit Sign / Emergency Light Combo that is ideal for entrances, retail areas, corridors, stairwells, and other places that require emergency lighting. A simple, yet well-built 2-in-1 combination of both exit and emergency lamps. The COMBOJR2 exit sign combo is equipped with a maintenance-free 3.6V NiCad battery that provides 90 minutes of emergency lighting in case of a power failure. It works on either 120 or 277 VAC power. Each lamp head is equipped with 12 SMD LEDs for excellent lighting. Includes 2 faceplates that allow for single or double-sided view; each faceplate has field installable directional chevrons. Optional Remote Head Capable model allows for additional 3.6V remote lamp heads to be connected and wired at a different location where additional lighting is needed – See “Remote Head Capable” section for more information. The optional Self-Testing model is a great solution where manual testing is not possible. The unit will perform the required NFPA testing and indicate the outcome of the test – See the “Self-Testing” section for more information.

Construction
The COMBOJR2 series is constructed from injection molded, impact- and scratch-resistant and corrosion-proof UL 94 V-0 flame retardant thermoplastic housing. White housing is standard.
Illumination
Uses two 1.5W LED lamp heads each equipped with 12 series-parallel white LEDs. Lamp heads are on track-and-swivel guides. Glare-free lenses provide redundant light source to ensure performance in emergency situations. EXIT portion uses long-lasting, efficient red or green LEDs.
Emergency Operation
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solid-state transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 90 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours.
Battery - Battery Backup
The COMBOJR2 Combo Exit Light series is designed with a maintenance-free 3.6V 900mAh NiCad battery (Battery Backup & Self Testing Models) or a 3.6V 1800 mAh battery (Remote Head Capable Models) that provides a minimum emergency duration of 90 minutes. Recharge time of the battery is 24 hours.

Disclosure:
Spacing is measured in lab condition with an assumed open space, no obstruction and reflection rates of 80 (ceiling) / 50 (walls) / 20 (floor). Actual spacing may vary depending on what environment the fixture is installed in.
Self-Testing Option
Unit continuously monitors the AC power, battery supply voltage, emergency lamp condition and charging circuit. If failure is detected, the indicator will show status and correct when adjusted. Unit will automatically perform NFPA required monthly and annual testing. Refer to user manual for details.
Remote Head Capable Option
The remote head capability option allows the COMBOJR2 unit to supply power to up to two additional LED remote heads. The remote heads would then operate on the same emergency mode as the standard units (see Emergency Operation Section).
Electrical Components
Dual voltage input 120/277 VAC operation. LED display indicates AC/ON. An external push button test switch allows maintenance personnel to quickly determine the operational status of the unit. Unit offers surge protected, solid-state circuitry.
Installation
The COMBOJR2 is suitable for surface, wall, and top mounting via included canopy. Unibody housing snaps together with no additional fasteners. Quick connect installation design allows for quick and easy installation. Knock-out chevrons for customized egress signage and field adjustable.

When attaching the outdoor single led weatherproof light that you sell can we use regular 14/2 with ground or is there a certain wire gauge we need to use.

Please note the COMBOJR2-R with the remote head capability option is needed to operate the outdoor remote head. We recommend regular low-voltage wiring when attaching both units.

Does this COMBOJR2-R combo matches the code of New York City?

The COMBOJR2-R is not NYC approved. NYC code requires metal housing and 8 inch Red lettering. The COMBOJR2-R is made of thermoplastic and the lettering is the standard 6 inches. You can find our NYC approved fixtures by searching " New York " in our search bar.
