Construction
The ELSMX-C1D2 Edge Lit
Exit Sign series is constructed from die-cast aluminum with a silver finish.
Designed with tamper-proof screws for unauthorized access to the unit. EXIT
faceplate is constructed from high-grade tempered glass.
Illumination
The ELSMX-C1D2 Edge Lit Exit Sign series is designed with two function modes:
1 - EXIT portion stays illuminuated at all times, under normal power or battery backup.
2 - EXIT portion only illuminates when there is a power outage.
Emergency Operation
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solid-state transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 180 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates recharging a discharged battery within 24 hours.
Battery - Battery Backup
The ELSMX-C1D2 Edge Lit Exit Sign series is designed with a maintenance-free, non-replaceable Li-Ion battery that provides a minimum emergency duration of 180 minutes. Recharge time of the battery is 24 hours.
